Every coffee we offer is the result of work in harmony from bean to cup

A very special coffee has just arrived…a Bourbon Pointu, also called Laurina.
This extremely rare variety of Arabica is distinguished by its slightly conical beans, hence its name.

This unique batch comes to us straight from Colombia, cultivated by the talented producers Liliana Toro and Didier Osorio of the Zorro Azul farm. And the surprise doesn't stop there: Bourbon Pointu is naturally low in caffeine...half as much as other Arabicas. A little pleasure to enjoy at any time of day!

During tasting, we found aromatic notes of blackberries, raisins and vanilla.

Producer

A passionate couple

Didier embodies dynamism and commitment: a hard worker, deeply involved, and passionate about coffee culture. But he's also the life of the party, always ready to dance or share long conversations.

Liliana, on the other hand, exudes a gentler energy. Curious and thoughtful, she loves to explore and ask questions... all while being an excellent dancer herself!

Finally, Philippe, who has managed our collaboration for more than 4 years, is also a true pillar of the farm.

This trio of enthusiasts, deeply attached to their culture, is committed to preserving the land and its ecosystem above all else. So, at the Zorro Azul farm, there's no intensive farming, no chemical weedkillers, just respectful farming practices that adapt to the coffee plants' life cycle.

Origin

Region and locality: Risaralda - Zorro Azul Farm : 1775 m

Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the farm offers a breathtaking panorama. Nearby, a protected forest is home to a remarkable diversity of birds. In the early morning, as the sun rises, you can easily spot hummingbirds, multicolored Colombian sparrows, tanagers, parrots, hawks, vultures... a magnificent spectacle!

Located in the heart of Colombia's Coffee Triangle (Caldas, Quindío, and Risaralda), Risaralda is one of the historic cradles of Colombian coffee. With its mountains, temperate climate, and volcanic soils, this department offers ideal conditions for growing coffee.

Process

Variety: Arabica, Laurina or Bourbon pointu

Grain processing: Natural

The natural process involves drying whole coffee cherries in the sun, without washing them. The beans then absorb the fruit's sugars and aromas, resulting in coffees that are often sweet, rich, and fruity, with a nice roundness in the cup.
