Every coffee we offer is the result of work in harmony from bean to cup

Our Samba coffee is a blend of Arabicas produced by the cooperative of Carmo de Minas, a small town nestled in the south of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, renowned for the quality of its mountain coffees.

During tasting, we found aromatic notes dark chocolate, molasses and cashews.

Origin

Region and locality: Minas Gerais - : 1000 - 1300 m

Minas Gerais is Brazil's iconic coffee state. Located in the southeast of the country, it alone accounts for nearly half of the country's production. With its numerous family farms, rolling landscapes, and mild climate, Minas Gerais is recognized worldwide as a benchmark for quality coffee.

Producers here primarily cultivate Arabica coffee, often at altitudes between 800 and 1,400 meters. This territory is home to several renowned regions, including Carmo de Minas, Sul de Minas, and Cerrado Mineiro, all known for their coffee expertise.

Process

Variety: Blend of Arabicas

Grain processing: Nature

This coffee has been carefully harvested, selecting only the ripest cherries.
After picking, the cherries were sorted using a machine called a "lavador," a density sorter commonly used in Brazil to remove low-density berries.
Drying then took place in two stages: three days in the sun on patios, followed by a passage in mechanical dryers for 72 hours, until an optimal humidity level was reached.
